1.) Payment Terms: Price excludes shipping, handling, and applicable taxes. All sales in the state of California must adjourn applicable tax rate within the city and county from which the sale is made onto. All payments are due prior to shipping, unless Janus Cam has provided payment options. Amounts not paid when due bear interest at the rate of up to 15% per month or the highest rate possible under applicable law, whichever is lower.
2.) We are not responsible for, therefore do not warrant any third party products, ie SD card or charge guards.
3.) The goods you purchased from Janus Cam (“Vendor”) are warranted free from defects in workmanship and materials. If the goods are defective, they will be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s option without charge on return to the Vendor within 1 year from date of purchase with satisfactory proof of purchase from Vendor and of the purchase date. This warranty is only given to the original purchaser of the goods and is void if the goods: have been damaged due to improper installation or negligence by purchaser or third party; were used other than for the purpose for which they are intended to be used, not used in accordance with operating instructions supplied with the goods, or subjected to any other misuse or abuse by purchaser or third party; were adapted or repaired other than by the Vendor or an approved service center; were added on to or used with other goods which may affect the integrity, performance, safety or reliability of the goods. This warranty does not cover damages caused by natural disasters. This warranty is given in place of all other warranties and assurances, whether express or implied, including but not limited to matters of quality, fitness for purpose or merchantability. In no event will the Vendor be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict tort, or any other legal theory. Damages that Vendor will not be responsible for include, but are not limited to: loss of profits; loss of savings or revenue; loss of use of the product or any associated equipment; cost of capital; cost of any substitute equipment, facilities, or services; downtime; the claims of third parties, including customers; and injury to property. Any action for breach of warranty must be commenced within 15 months following delivery of the goods.
4.) Once a sale transaction has been completed, all sales are final. There are no returns unless other terms were discussed and agreed upon.
5.) Product Warranty: Janus Cam warrants to the original purchaser, or for the Janus V2HD and V3 camera purchased from a Janus Cam authorized distributor to the original end-user that the Janus V2HD and V3 will be free from defects from material and workmanship from the date of purchase for 1 YEAR. During the warranty period Janus Cam will at its option: (l) repair the Janus V2HD camera at its facility in the U.S. or send the Janus V2HD /V3 to the manufacturer. (2) Replace the defective Janus V2HD/V3. Users are to follow the Janus V2HD/V3 procedures as listed below:
a.) Camera power must be turned “off” when removing the SD card from the camera and or the External SD Card reader. Removing SD card while camera is “on” can damage the SD card.
b.) When installing the Janus V2HD/V3 the main power of connection must have a minimum of 12 volts. Also, be aware of power source behavior. Connection to a constant power source can drain the vehicle’s power.
c.) Shared power to the Janus V2HD/V3 will cause constant rebooting of the camera, which may cause damage to the motherboard within the camera.
6.) Disclaimer of Warranties: Limitation of Liability. Except for the warranties expressed in this agreement, Janus Cam disclaims all warranties expressed or implied. This warranty supersedes all warranties that may have been expressed verbally or otherwise by any representative, re-seller, distributor, or agent of the Janus V2HD/V3.
